We still miss you Little Angel!

I promise that every post won't be about our lost little one. :) I find posting and acknowledging this loss is very healing and a way to find peace with all of this. Many people don't want to talk about it for fear that I will crumble before their very eyes and it makes them uncomfortable. But I would rather have people talk about it than pretend it didn't happen. We are doing better and it is getting easier. Definitely the clouds are lifting and we can see the sun again. :) Many prayers for the babies born and unborn that were brought back to heaven.

Daddy please don't look so sad,

Momma please don't cry,

Cause I am in the arms of Jesus and

He sings me lullabies.

Please try not to question God,

Don't think He is unkind.

Don't think He sent me to you,

And then He changed His mind.

You see, I am a Special Child,

And I am needed up above,

I'm the special gift you gave Him,

The product of your love.

I'll always be there with you,

And watch the sky at night

Find the brightest star that's gleaming,

That's my halo's brilliant light

You'll see me in the morning frost,

That mists your windowpane.

That's me, in the summer showers,

I'll be dancing in the rain.

When you feel a gentle breeze,

From a gentle wind that blows,

That's me, I'll be there,

Planting a kiss on your nose.

When you see a child playing,

And your heart feels a little tug,

That's me, I'll be there,

giving your heart a hug.

So, Daddy, please don't look so sad,

Mommy don't you cry.

I'm in the arms of Jesus,

and He sings me lullabies.

Happy 3rd Birthday Ella!

Our little princess celebrated her third birthday! This was definitely the first year that she "got it". She knew as soon as she woke up that this was her special day. We let her pick where she wanted to go to dinner and she picked Red Robin. We had been there only one time in her life so we still aren't sure where she came up with that..thinking some brotherly influence! So we packed everybody in the van and traveled the 35 minutes away to go the restaurant of her choice. She was thrilled but a little scared when they came to sing Happy Birthday to her. She wasn't too sure about a bunch of strangers singing to her but the ice cream sundae seemed to make up for it.
Fittingly, she had princess EVERYTHING! The plates, decorations, napkins, cake, presents were all princess themed. Needless to say, she is OBSESSED with princesses right now. So Eric and I decided this would be a great year to take the kids to Disney World for their birthdays. (Those pictures are soon to come!) Happy birthday to our sweet little princess! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
