Honey, its an Alien...I mean a baby!

We had another doctor's appointment yesterday to check on Lucky Number 3. All is well and he or she is growing great. The baby was measuring about 2 days behind which is fine. We are hoping for a smaller baby this time because the doctor is concerned since Ella had shoulder dystocia (her shoulders got stuck behind the pelvic bone and her collar bone broke) that if this one is any bigger than Ella then they want to do a c-section. We did not realize that Ella breaking her collar bone was a blessing because some babies' collar bones don't break and it can be a life threatening situation. So the doctor wants to avoid that at all cost. That is kind of worrying because we really don't want to have to go through a c-section but we will just have to wait and see. At least we have a lot of time to get mentally prepared if that should be the case. Obviously, we want to do what is best for the baby. Our doctor did an ultrasound again to measure the growth and this what we were greeted with, an alien...I mean a baby! Haha!

Here is this little baby looking head on. You can see the eye sockets and skull and if you look closely you can see his or her arms waving at the side of his or her body. Truly looks "out of this world".
