Lots of appointments and lots of growing...

We are winding down another week and there have been lots of doctor appointments and just plain "busyness" around here. We can start off with Ella, who had her 18 month check up this week. She checked out perfectly and measured 34 inches (95th percentile) and 24 pounds (50th percentile). She has been pretty consistent with being tall and of average weight. The doctor and nurse both commented on how much she talks. She is such a chatterbox. So she is doing so great and we feel so blessed to have two such healthy children.

Andrew was spared from any doctor's appointments and has just been doing his usual stuff. We finally got him to try on his Halloween costume to see if it would fit since it officially turned October (he refused to try it on till the calendar in his room said October...????) Anyway, after careful persuasion we got him to put it on and once he saw that it fit he said he would again wear it on the night that he gets candy but would like to take it off right NOW. So back in the closet for that. This kid definitely hates to get dressed up. One of his little quirks.

As for #3, all seems well. He or she has slowed down on growing and now only measures one week ahead. I feel like I am always going to the doctor now that I am up to my two week appointments. I failed my one hour diabetes test so had to go in for the lovely three hour test. That is just so much fun when you can't eat for 12 hours and have to get blood drawn five times. Such a joy. So no news is good news for that. I haven't heard anything from my doctor. She only calls if it is bad news so I am assuming I passed. I did the same thing with Ella, failed the one hour but passed the three hour. We will see at my next appointment which is next Monday.

Eric has gone back to school in pursuit of his accounting degree. It is nice because he can do it at night after work and it is mostly online classes. I will update every now and again on how that is going for him. He is smart and a hard worker so he should do great! So that is our little family update for now. We hope everyone is doing great! She is obsessed with this crown. Needless to say, I think she will be a princess for Halloween.
