6 weeks as a family of 5!

Elizabeth turned 6 weeks this week. So hard to believe! Things continue to go well. The kids are still in love with her and overall she sleeps pretty well. There are a few bad nights every now and then, but the good far outweigh the bad. She has been sleeping at about 5-6 hour stretches at night so I have no room to complain. She is sleeping better at 6 weeks then Ella slept at 10 months!!! (Hoping I am not jinxing myself when I say that!)

My time at home with the kids will soon be over and I am so sad about that. But I will count my blessings that I was able to be home with them at all and I have loved every minute of it. I do know a group of second graders that are anxiously awaiting my return. :)

Elizabeth (or my little LizzyBear as I call her) has learned to smile and melts our hearts every time she does. Andrew celebrates each little accomplishment and I think truly appreciates all her little milestones. The other day he was so proud of her when she turned her head to look at him. He is such good big brother and dotes on her all day.

Ella is working on being potty trained, and in true Ella style, it is on her own time and own way of doing things. She had 2 fabulous days of being in underwear with no accidents and then the next day she wanted no part of it. She had a million accidents and ended up being put back in pull ups. It is really 2 steps forward and 10 steps back.

Andrew is doing well and truly embracing being three. Definitely acting his age with tantrums, defiance and showing his independence. However, he is still my little lovey guy and as smart as ever. He has now taken to reading the Newspaper with Mommy and Daddy. He likes to read the headlines and ads in the paper. We definitely have to monitor which section of paper he gets a hold of. :)

That is our little update and now on the to pictures....

Elizabeth caught about to give us a big grin!

Snuggling on the couch

Still so tiny next to Daddy's foot!

I had the camera on the wrong setting...darn it! Ella dressed herself...cutting edge of fashion. :)
