Today Ella went for her 15 month check up and did her usually screaming as the nurse or doctor tried to touch her but then would run around crazy and giggling when they shut the door. Oh! What a drama queen in the making! Her check up was great and she measured 32 inches (90th percentile) and weighed 23 pounds (60th percentile). So all is great and the doctor just had to take our word for it that she is talking. Haha! I could barely peel her off my shoulder for him to look at her. Here is a video of her talking. Andrew loves to ask her to say all sorts of things. She is really quite the chatterbox lately. Click on the picture below for a video of Ella talking.
Ella Talking 7/10/08 Andrew was a great helper at the doctor's office and was his usual well behaved self. He amazed me today when he picked up a book (it was a beginning to read book that had three and four word sentences) and he read the whole thing to me. I was almost in tears, I was so proud of him. I knew he could read but I have never seen him pick up a book that he wasn't familar with and just read it so fluently. We are just so proud of him. :) Way to go Andrew!
