Long Overdue Update

It has been awhile since I posted so here we go! We just got done with a week of fun with Aunt Kate, Grandma Sandy and cousins, Emma and Anna. The kids had a blast and it was so nice to see them play and get to know one another. We had lots of fun going to the beach, swimming, bowling and hanging out. (I am mad that I didn't take more pictures. Hopefully Kate or Grandma will have some good ones....hint, hint, hint.) It was so great to have them here all the way from Ohio and Andrew keeps asking when they are going to get in their car and drive back here. I am sure I can speak for them when I say that they do not want to do the 20 plus hour car ride again any time soon. I think it is our turn next or (fingers crossed) we can move closer soon where the drive isn't so brutal.

Andrew and Ella Update: We are so happy to finally say that....ANDREW WENT POOPY ON THE POTTY!!!!!! It has been a long time coming and for Mommy and Daddy it seemed like it would never happen. Ella is talking constantly and is our little mimic. She tries to repeat everything and her newest word is raining (since we are in the rainy season). When it rains in the afternoon she looks outside and says, "Naining". She has also learned to say Andrew's name (a-due) much to his delight. She is just getting so big and unfortunately has been seeing time out quite frequently. Definitely testing the limits! Her big brother is much obliged to tell Mommy when she is doing something wrong.

Baby update: Things are flying by and we are nearly 18 weeks along. This little one is moving a lot and I can already feel the little kicks. We went for our ultrasound last Monday where they measured all the organs and checked that he or she is on track with growth. Everything checked out fine except she couldn't get a good measurement of the heart so we will have to go back when he or she is a bit bigger. The baby measured a whopping 6 ounces and measured exactly on the due date of December 10th. He or she put on quite a little show and yawned and moved constantly. We were lucky enough to have my Mom here so she got to see the baby on the ultrasound which she has never seen before.

We are enjoying our summer and gearing up for me going back to work in August. :( Andrew will be going to preschool on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9-12 and they both will be going back to our sitter, Barbie, while I am at work. Andrew went to Barbie's when I went back to work after he was born and she is amazing and we feel very blessed to have her. We don't have to think twice about leaving them with her and she loves them like her own.

And if you made it this far....on to the pictures!!!!!
