We have been MIA

Sorry it has been sooooo long. Our computer crashed and burned! A lesson to you all and a hard lesson for us....BACK UP ALL YOUR PICTURES! Anyway, lots to catch you up on. While we have been technologically challenged we celebrated two birthdays and are about to celebrate another.

Happy Birthday Ella! I can't believe she is two and is truly living up to being two. Her vocabulary has exploded and she talks in small complete sentences. She is a riot and picks up on everything. Lately, she has been saying to Elizabeth, "What is da matter, wady (lady)?" Eric and I have been cracking up. She enjoyed her Elmo birthday and really got the hang of what a birthday is. Now whenever she sees anything on tv she says,"want that for MY birthday." Funny! She went in for her 2 year check up and weighed a little under 27 pounds. She measured 36 inches tall!! She was 90th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. That is about where she has been her whole life. Way to go for being consistent, Ella!

We are gearing up now for Easter and Andrew's fourth, yes, FOURTH birthday. Our little man is getting so big. He also has been a crack up lately and so helpful with Elizabeth. He loves that she interacts with him more and more. Yesterday, Elizabeth was fussing and he said, "Mommy, I think she needs some of your milk, then a bottle, burp, fill her pants and go to bed." :) He definitely covered all the bases!

Papa came down for the kids' birthdays and we got to go to Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a blast! Ella pretty much just ran around crazily but Andrew had a great time playing all the games.

Elizabeth is growing by the minute and has not a hint of newborn left in her. She is rolling over from back to front and holding things in her hands. I still marvel at the stages that the kids go through. It is still enchanting even the third time around. She is "chatting" all the time. She has regressed with her sleeping....grrrrrr. So we are trying hard this week while I am home to get her on a strict schedule. She is definitely not starved since she weighed 15 pounds 2 ounces at the drs. She measured 25.5 inches long. That put her in the 90th pecentile for both height and weight. She is a chunk to say the least. We have started her on cereal in the past couple of days and she is loving it. Hoping that fills her up some and she gets to wanting to sleep again at night.
