We Made It!

We are getting settled in our new house. The move went pretty smoothly and we could have never done it without our fabulous family. Jim, Stella, and Mike were our lifesavers. The kids have adjusted very well. They love the swingset or "playground" as they call it and even though it has been sweltering hot, they continue to play till they are a sweaty mess. They love that they can run through the grass with no shoes on. Definitely not something they could do in Florida. The extra room in the house is incredible and the kids have plenty of room to play and run around. Wondering how we ever survived without a playroom and a basement! We are counting on people to come and visit anytime they want now that we have the room...hint, hint! Kate, my mom and the kiddos have already been to visit and were so helpful in getting us unpacked and organized. It is really hard for me to get things done at this point in my pregnancy so I am sure there would be still be boxes everywhere if they hadn't helped.

Long Lost Cousins!!! So hoping that they will get to see one another more now that we are closer!

Grandma cooking with the girls!

Eric and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on August 4th. Unbelievable that it has been ten years already. I told Eric it was weird to think that ten years ago on that morning I was getting ready for the big day and ten years later I was listening to our three children singing their ABC's together, while two more were kicking around in my belly. Truly amazing! Jim and Stella came and took the kiddos to the Lake for the weekend so Eric and I had three days all to ourselves. We spent the weekend getting the girls' room finished and started to get the babies' room set.

The babies continue to do really well. We are so thankful for this very uneventful pregnancy so far! I thought possibly that I would be on bedrest at this point but nope, I continue to waddle around. At our last appt at 30 weeks the babies were measuring about 3 pounds 10 ounces each. Still matching each other with their measurements as they have all along. Baby A was breech and Baby B was still transverse. If they stay like that they will arrive via c-section but the dr didn't seem concerned and thought they had time to turn. We go back to the dr on Friday so we will see if they are cooperating! Then from here on out we will be seeing the doctor each week until they arrive. They will do an ultrasound to check fluid and that the cords and placenta are still functioning efficiently. They will also do a nonstress test on the babies. My doctor said to be prepared to live at the drs till they come which is fine with me if that ensures they arrive healthy.

About 32 weeks on our anniversary. (Can you imagine what this belly will look like if they go SIX more weeks!!!)
