We went to the doctor on Friday and the boys are doing well. They have plenty of fluid and their heartrates were great. However, they are both about as breech as can be at this point. I had mentioned that I had been having some contractions so Dr. Menges thought it would be wise to check and see if these contractions were doing anything. Well it turns out that I was 1.5 cm dilated and 60% effaced. She recommended at this point it would be a good idea to get steriod shots for the boys' lungs in case they came early. I got one shot at the office and then I would have to give myself an injection 24 hours later. I am not much for needles but really had to get over that in order for the babies to get what they needed. All about mind of matter to get this needle in my hip! Haha!
I had some pretty consistent contractions Friday night but they have slowed down. So I am just trying to rest as much as possible and take it day by day. We go back to the dr. on Friday so we shall see what she says. Say a prayer that these little guys can stay in till 35 weeks!
